Basketball tryouts were two days ago. I not able to actually tryout until tommorow

This is the last week of JV football. I'm actually glad football is coming to an end. I really didn't like the coaches because they acted different this year. Last year they were more lenient but we lost a lot of our games this year we won a lot more. That's probably why it had us more focused on the game instead of outside stuff
Same old with my left hand I have to wait one more week until I get my cast. But the doctors have said I would have to sit out an extra two weeks so it doesn't have any force on it. I've also been playing some basketball games in my cast so using my left hand is easy. I somewhat use my left hand for everything now but it's difficult to get my hand that I want to do since I'm right handed. I also still have to wait after to tryout but I feel confident.
Week 2 I feel more comfortable with shooting with my left hand. I´m flicking my wrist when I shoot instead of just throwing the ball at the goal and hoping it goes in. I see a lot of improvement with my left hand it seems a lot more professional. But what I´m really worried about is when I get this cast off how much time will I have to catch up my right hand since basketball tryouts is early November and I get my cast off a couple of days before the first. The work I did this week was endurance and I ran a couple of games of basketball to see how it would feel and I scored a lot more than I expected. Scoring with my left hand I think I got it but dribbling with my left needs some improvement.
Week 1 knocked down. This week was more football than basketball since I'm in a cast. Yea I fractured my finger so I'm in a cast for 3 weeks. I can still play football but I have to pad it which is good which helps my foot work. But with this cast on its actually benefiting me because I could never use my left hand but no I'm much more efficient with it but there is still improvement needed. This will help me a better basketball player. In basketball you have to know how to use both hands.
This is my blog and it´s going to be about basketball. The reason why I picked this is because I like to do this sport. Here´s some background of my relationship with the sport. I started playing when I was 4 at a recreational league and that continued til I was 10. At the age of 10 I joined a travel ball team but while I was on the team they put us in an age group above mine. I played travel ball until I was 12 after we won 5 championships. That´s when middle school came I had to sit out my 6th grade year because 6th graders were not eligible to play sports at the time. 7th and 8th grade year I made the team. We were good we lost one game both seasons. 9th grade I made the freshman team that´s when I was actually put in a high school tournament we came first out of 15 teams. And as of right now I'm in football waiting for basketball season to start. Football is helping me with my foot work.
